SPC. Have you heard the acronym. Some customers require, particularly in the automotive industry. But you know why it is important for stamping manufacturers Statistical Process Control (SPC) to include in all its procedures for quality control? In one word: consistency.

The secret lies in the statistics.

With SPC, statistical methods used to monitor the process of punch-making, so that you can pick up even small deviations from the greatProblems across the board. important attributes are the punch with an acceptable range for deviations assigned during manufacture. Then the deviations from the norm are mapped automatically in real time with SPC software. The result is a single supply for the whole process of working metal. If there are unacceptable variations, with SPC, it is easy to see exactly where the process becomes out of whack, so that a manager to address the causes and the problem resolved as soon aspossible.
